Budget Valentine’s Day
By Dylan Peck
Love is in the air, but is there money in your wallet? One of the most expensive times of the year is upon us: Valentine’s Day. When thinking about a gift for a special someone, you may find that all of your options seem a little expensive. Today, we’ll show you how you can have a successful Valentine’s Day– on a budget.
Homemade gifts are the first way to save money during the season of love. An idea that will warm the heart of your significant other is creating a homemade valentines day card. Make sure to personalize it, including some heartfelt words and even pictures.
A more traditional way of showing your love while still on a budget is the classic flower bouquet. You can attempt to pick them on your own, but February might not be the best time for blooming flowers. Instead, try a supermarket. They’ll have a good variety of flowers at a reasonably low price.
Our final inexpensive way to please your loved one is plain and simple: food. Nothing fancy, just pick up some food from their favorite chain and surprise them with it. Also, if you have a culinary touch, feel free to cook up some of their favorite foods or snacks, like cookies.
And that’s it! Soon enough, you’ll have a memorable Valentine’s Day without having to break the bank.Share This Item:
