| Austin Camp

Austin Camp, age seventeen, is currently a junior at Ocean City High School. Austin has been elected as Sergeant at Arms in the Cinema Production Club.  This year, The Morning Wave and Cinema Productions are some of Austin’s top priorities.  Aside from this work, Austin spends most of his free time writing and researching for his novel.  Including the other arts, Austin also enjoys photo editing, short stories, and some poetry. Austin, on some Saturday nights, picks a horror movie to watch, as he loves the whodunit plot, the anti – hero’s, psychological theories.

 

 

Kayla Noll | 

Kayla Noll is a senior at Ocean City High School.  She moved to Ocean City, New Jersey at the start of her sophomore from South Brunswick.  Kayla believes that the move was one of the greatest choices of her life because she loves living here.  The beach is Kayla’s absolute favorite place in the whole world and she wishes that she could spend every day in the ocean.  She plans to participate in beach patrol next summer.  Kayla has been a member of “TMW” during her junior year and is now enjoying the start of her second year.  She is extremely excited to see her segments air Friday mornings.  Kayla is also part of the OCHS crew team throughout the year.  Kayla enjoys working out and especially running, where she tries to go for at least 7 miles a day.  Another one of Kayla’s interests include history, and someday she hopes to teach it in high school.  In her down time you can find Kayla listening to music, social networking, reading Harry Potter, or watching her favorite show, Friday Night Lights.

 

 

Christian Candeloro

Christian Candeloro is a junior at Ocean City High School and is an active member of The Morning Wave crew.  Christian is in his second year studying with Mr. Wheeldon and plans on continuing his studies in college and majoring in broadcast journalism.  In addition to creating segments, Christian is a second baseman for the Red Raiders baseball team and works during the summer. Christian feels that TV/Media will prepare him for the world after school and has helped him understand the hard work that it takes to become successful.  He looks forward to this year and all the excitement it will bring!

 

 

 

Jackie Chapman |

Jackie Chapman is a junior at OCHS.  Since moving here last February, she has learned a lot.  She feels she has learned the most in TV/Media.  Before last year, she knew nothing about the equipment it takes to make “The Morning Wave.”  Today she can work all of those machines, and is able to edit segments.  She loves this class.  It’s so interesting.  She loves working on the machines for “The Morning Wave.”  Switcher is her favorite.  She hopes to learn more about all the technology that goes into producing the show.

 

| Dominique Meola


Dominique Meola is a junior.  She is part of the Drama Guild.  She loves to be on camera and in her spare time, she likes to listen to music, and read.  She expects to learn more about being organized, having a routine, and how the media world works.

 

 

 

 

Jessica Grossman | 


Jessica Grossman is a Junior and anew member to The Morning Wave crew.  She enjoys working with the software and learning how to improve her skills in the field of TV production.  Jessica plays tennis for Ocean City and manages the Ocean City boys Basketball team.  She spends most of her time listening to music, going to the gym, or at her job at Piccini.  Her friends are important and impact her life along with her family, who she has to thanks for all the progress she has made throughout high school.  Jessica would like to pursue TV media production throughout college because she loves the field and could see it as a future career.  Some of her dreams are to become a successful investigative journalist, attend college in New York City, and pass AP English 11.

 

 

| Bradley Davidson


Bradley has hunted the elusive Egyptian Polar bear, dulled with the the queen of America, and swam in the desert.  Chuck Noris once complimented his jump kick.  Coffee was once scolded by Brad.  Now that he has joined “The Morning Wave” it truly can become spectacular and he looks forward to brightening the days of all the students at OCHS.

 

 

 

Max Matthews | 


Max Matthews is enjoying his senior year at OCHS.  He shares many great memories with the entire crew and cast of The Morning Wave. Max looks forward to working with the technical genius of Steve Trauger and the masterful Mr. Wheeldon.  The “Wave” and Force are one.

 

 

 

 

 

| Pat Birk

Pat Birk is a senior here at OCHS.  In addition to TV and movies, Pat is interested in music, travel, videogames, and hanging out with friends.  He plays three instruments, including guitar, piano, and saxophone.  Pat also runs for the Cross Country and Track teams, and is a member of the band, Student Council, and Drama Guild.  When he’s not doing these things, Pat enjoys writing and performing music with his band “Resonation”.  Pat hopes to bring a comic element to his segments for “The Morning Wave” this year.  He also enjoys working in the media control room, and as the talent for the show.  He has enjoyed shooting segments and learning to edit over the last two years.  Pat hopes to go onto major in TV and Film production next year.

 

Carling Mott | 


Carling is a senior at Ocean City High School.  She is in her third year of the TV/ Media program and is a member of the Tennis and Lacrosse teams.  Carling also enjoys sailing during the summer.  She has always has been enthralled by cinema and all the work that goes into it.  She would rather be behind the scenes either editing or behind the camera operations.  When Carling graduates, she hopes to attend a good college and study television production further.  She wants to get an internship at ESPN and eventually work there.  Carling wishes to thank her grandfather for making her believe anything is possible, and to never give up hope in what we believe in.

 

| Mallory Martin

Mallory Martin is a senior at Ocean City High School.  She participates in a sport every season that is offered from Ocean City.  During the fall she runs cross country, winter-track, and in the spring she pole-vaults for the track and field team.  Between balancing sports and academics she works at a restaurant on the boardwalk.  Her plans are to attend a four-year college and become an Art Director.  A fun fact about Mallory is that she has been a vegetarian for four years.  Mallory is in her final year of TV/Media at OCHS.  She really enjoys the creativity she is allowed to express in the class.  She plans on continuing her TV Media career.  Her favorite part of the class is editing footage.  She tries her best to give TV Media the commitment she gives to her other classes and sports.  She thinks TV Media is a good outlet and absolutely loves it even though it pushes her; luckily Mallory enjoys a good challenge.

 

Marly Logue | 


Marly Logue is a junior this year at OCHS.  She has enjoyed being in the TV/Media program since day one.  She is so excited to finally be working on The Morning Wave, something she has been looking forward to since freshman year.  She hopes this opportunity will help jumpstart her career in communications in the future.  Marly is in the OCHS Red Raiders Marching Band, Choir, and she performs in both the fall and winter shows with the Drama Guild.  The Morning Wave is just one more platform where she can pursue her love of the arts.  In and out of school she is rarely seen without a smile on her face and a skip in her step.

 

 

| Kameron Ghanavati
Kameron is a senior this year at OCHS and happy to return to his home on the “Morning Wave” set.  The arts are very prominent in his life and he plans to pursue a career in music and broadcasting.  Working with Mr. Trauger and Mr. Wheeldon has been very beneficial to him and he is thankful to be taking the class.  After school, you can find Kameron either in the music rooms or on the stage, where he is an active member of the OCHS drama guild.  Outside of school he studies music with the very talented Bob Snodgrass.  Kameron realized his passion for the arts when he began to discover the hard work and dedication put into any kind of work–whether it is film, art, or music.  Kameron regularly accompanies the choir during their concerts and also participates in the marching band.  Kameron is happy to return for a second season and is looking forward to making segments again.

 

Carissa Schultheis | 


Carissa Schultheis is a junior at OCHS. She is a dedicated member of “The Morning Wave.” She enjoys making segments and writing scripts for “TMW.” She is also a cheerleader for the high school and enjoys going to sports events. Carissa hopes to do something gin the media industry once she goes to college.

 

 

 

 

 

Heather Mason
Heather mason is currently a junior at Ocean City High School. This is her second year in the TV/Media program, and she loves it. She is a member of the Literary Magazine, where she helps decide which pieces are put in the publication. She plays the bass guitar, cello, piano, flute, and a few chords on the guitar. Heather loves listening to music as much as she enjoys playing it, her main genre of choice being 80′s thrash metal. An interesting fact about her is that she runs long distance almost every day. After high school she hopes to get her bachelor’s degree in nursing to become a registered nurse.

Makeda Kerr
Makeda is a senior at Ocean City High School.  She enjoys meeting new people and creative writing.  She’s very out going, and is often referred to as a spontaneous spirit.  After High School, Makeda plans to become a stylish fashion designer.  She wishes to attend Pratt, located in New York City.  Makeda joined TV/Media because media production is a necessary component of fashion shows and commercials.  This year Makeda wants to learn as much as she can, and excel in script writing and Final Cut Pro.

 

Andrew DeCredico
Andrew DeCredico is a junior at Ocean City High School and is in Mr. Wheeldon’s Period 2 TV/Media Production class.  Andrew knows most of the technical aspects of Final Cut Pro and can use all stations in the studio efficiently.  He likes the position of “switcher” the best, followed closely by VTR.  With a busy schedule of cross country, track and field, marching band, boy scouts, and homework, he might have a hard time finishing assignments, but TV/Media has taught him to finish his other work first before saving the best for last–TV/Media and Cinema productions.

 

Tommy Alvord
Tommy Alvord is a senior at Ocean City High School.  He loves all sports and his favorite teams are the Phillies, Eagles, Duke, Flyers, and Sixers.  He also enjoys watching television and his favorite shows are Tosh.0The Chappelle Show, and Family Guy.  He enjoys going to the  movies, his favorites are SuperbadPineapple ExpressAmerican Pie, and Beerfest.  Tommy also loves all music, but his favorite musicians are Drake, J. Cole, Mac Miller, Bob Marley, and Sublime.  Tommy is a very positive person and realizes that you should live your life to the fullest because you only live once.

Jake Mann
Jake Mann is a TV 3 student.  This is his third year working with “The Morning Wave” and he has enjoyed every second of it, from working in the studio to working in the field and editing his footage to make an airable segment for his community.  Outside of the studio, when he is not working for “The Morning Wave,” Jake enjoys spending time with friends, and family, doing work for school to get into a good collage, or working to make some extra cash.  Jake looks forward to going to a four-year collage for news broadcasting and cinematography.  Jake also looks forward to making segments this year and performing/putting together shows for his school and community.

Antimo Ferrilli
Antimo Ferrilli goes as Aundy for short.  Aundy is a junior at OCHS, and has been in TV/ Media for two years now.  Aundy took the class because he would like to have a carrier in cinema productions after college.  Aundy loves motion pictures; he can never decide on one favorite movie, so a few of his favorite movies are Jurassic ParkTransformersStar WarsRemember the Titans, and Armageddon.  Aundy’s biggest goal in life is to write and direct a Jurassic Park type film.  Along with moviesm, Aundy’s other interests are football, wrestling, boxing, cars, among a lot of other subjects.  Things Aundy does in his free time is hang out with his friends, spend time with his family, and being creative in many areas; for example, his latest project is a wooden model of a pirate ship.  Aundy is a hard worker and will do his best at any thing he puts his mind too.  Aundy looks forward to making segments and working on “The Morning Wave”.

Liz Farnan
This is Liz’s third year as a “Morning Wave” crew member.  She is a senior at OCHS and is involved in several sports there, including field hockey swimming and crew.  Liz is also an executive for the school’s intramural club.  Besides sports, Liz is also very active in the community, where she helps out with various charities such as the American Cancer Society and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  Liz would like to attend a four-year college for communications.  She then aspires to someday have a career in communications and business.

Halle Duzy
Halle Duzy is a senior at Ocean City High School this year. This is Halle’s second and final year with “The Morning Wave”.  Halle has always had a passion for “TV/MEDIA” and “film”.  When Halle transferred into Ocean City High School last September she did not know what to expect, but when she came to Ocean City High School she was amazed by the advanced technology she would be able to work with and the privilege of working with the greatest people she would soon call the “TMW Crew”.  “The Morning Wave” has always been the best way Halle could express how she felt about certain events or issues that were going on and always had her “TMW Crew” to have her back when she needed them.  As a senior in “TV/MEDIA 3,” Halle wishes to make her final year as an Ocean City High School student the best it can be.

Erin Garrison
Erin Garrison is a senior at Ocean City High School involved with the production of The Morning Wave.  She has been a part of the show since junior year, but has actively participated in the TV Media Program since her sophomore year of high school.  She enjoys the environment the class provides, and prefers the “hands on” learning technique it establishes.  Outside of school, she participates in Crew and has received a four-year varsity letter.  She hopes to attend a four-year college and major/minor in some form of TV production.

Rebecca Barnett
Rebecca Barnett is a student at Ocean City High School with a strong ambition to make a name for herself in the visual arts world.  She is currently enrolled in her third year of TV/Media Production and loves every minute of it.  Her main goal is to be known for her work, to have a prominent standing in one of the most influential parts of people’s lives–the media.  She is known for her unique flare and creativity.  Photography is another huge passion of hers.  She takes the phrase “taking pictures” to a new level beyond just a common hobby.  You will rarely see Becca’s face because it is usually hidden behind a lens of some sort.  An interesting fact about Becca is that she is a vegetarian and has been for six years now.  Her love of animals comes out in her film and photography work as well.  It is her passion for the world to see what she has to offer through her work.  Her dream is to attend Temple University and major in either film or photography.

Rachel Como
Rachel Como is a junior at OCHS and a dedicated member of “The Morning Wave.”  She loves working on segments and looks forward to TV/Media class every day.  Outside of school, Rachel works at the Cake Lady Bakery and Bon Cheveux hair salon.  She loves animals and is starting up her own dog walking business.  When she isn’t working or in school she is hanging out with her friends or her siblings.  Rachel hopes to study more about film production and maybe make a career out of it.

Haley O’Neill
Haley O’Neill is 16 and a junior at Ocean City High School.  She is in her second year of TV Media.  She enjoys making segments and working in the control room.  When she isn’t doing segments for “The Morning Wave,” she is hanging out with her friends.  Haley also plays softball for the high school.  She plans to further her career in TV Media and go to college for communications and journalism.

Chad Williams
Chad Williams is a junior at OCHS–part of the class of 2013.  He is an ambitious 17 year old, with expectations of putting his own spin on “The Wave” using his innovative and comical ideas.  Besides spending time writing scripts and creating entertaining segments, Chad is one of the top ranked javelin throwers in New Jersey.  His schoolwork and athletics are his top priorities.  When not working on them he enjoys skateboarding, fishing, and surfing.  Mr. Wheeldon’s class is a great outlet to express his creativity and he hopes to make his junior year one of the best.

Jordan Baker
Jordan Baker is an energetic individual who enjoys expressing himself.  He is creative and always tries to make his opinion be heard during and outside of school.  Education and his running career are the two most important parts of his life and he puts equal effort into both of them.  TV/Media was an exceptional elective choice for him because of his enthusiastic approach and creative spirit.  Jordan acknowledges the fact that he’ll gain skills that he will carry with him for the rest of his life as a result of the knowledge he is quickly picking up working and learning around a studio environment at OCHS.  He likes to ensure that all of his segments for the show have a topic that the audience will be intrigued by.  He finds it enjoyable to be able to report about a subject he finds interesting while informing others about its importance.  Jordan thanks TV/Media for teaching him how to become a better writer while being careful not to over analyze an assignment.  This is Jordan’s third year as a TMW member, and he plans to take the skills and knowledge that he has obtained from the class out into the real world.

Zachary Donahue

Zach is looking to start his own business as an animator and graphic designer.  Currently, he took an interest in this course because of the hands-on activity with cameras, Final Cut Pro, and the studio.  His business is currently not as busy as someone with a degree but it’s still nice.  He gets most of his business through YouTube advertisements.  His dream is to be an animator for a well-known studio or be a leading Video Game Designer for companies such as Epic Games, EA, or Bungie.  This course, through Mr. Wheeldon’s wise advice, has proven that you can’t coast through life and expect things to work out, you have to work for it.  In the end- this course has not only helped him academically, but has taught him valuable life lessons and will hopefully help him succeed.
