Eighty-five years ago, a man who has deeply affected the roots of the world for the better was born. Martin Luther King Jr. not only fought for African-Americans, but equality for everyone. In 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. gave a well-known speech stating his dreams and how “hate corrodes the personality and eats away its vital unity” (I Have a Dream Speech, 1963). His words and actions impacted the world, greatly affecting the outlook on parity of humans.
